Key Concepts Include:

  • Putting an end to arguing, backtalk and begging
  • How to stop yelling at your kids
  • Setting limits without waging war: enforceable statements
  • Ending power struggles with your kids
  • Getting kids to listen the first time
  • Helping kids cool down
  • What to do when you don’t know what to do

Facilitator: Kerry Stutzman, MSW, LMFT, Independent Facilitator of the Love and Logic Curriculum. Kerry has a private practice with a primary focus on parent coaching and family therapy. What do past participants think of Kerry's class?

“Best thing about the Crash Course for Parenting ‘Tweens and Teens was the focus on older kids and the stories relating the content with real life scenarios. It was a good refresher that my kids need to own their own mistakes and problems. I love that Kerry empathizes with me? I am not alone!”

“I always love learning from your real-life down to earth approach! Thank you!”

“I loved the facilitator’s honesty! So many great personal experiences brought the syllabus to life. ”

“Best thing about class: ‘Say it once and mean it.’ I loved hearing that. I will use that.”

“What did the facilitator do well? Blending content with wonderful ideas and personal stories, answering questions while staying on topic, bringing things back to the topic.”

“The facilitator was very relatable, enjoyed her personal stories.”

“Most valuable take-away was learning not to get sucked in. Go brain dead.”
