Kerry provides parent coaching for parents wanting to make their families happier and more peaceful. She works with parents in her office and focuses on behavioral objectives such as effective limit-setting, appropriate consequences for misbehavior and techniques to create more joy at home. She also addresses how to nurture and support children. Some parents use parent coaching to fine-tune their skills or review what they learned in a previous parenting class.
Coaching is not psychotherapy and is not intended to be a substitute for psychotherapy.
Parents can use Kerry's coaching services to help them navigate the divorce process. The parent and Kerry talk through how to best meet the needs of the children as the parent goes through this challenging time. In these cases, Kerry sometimes observes parents with their children and provides feedback and coaching to the parent. Kerry has served as an expert witness in divorce-related legal proceedings in the following Colorado counties: Denver, Jefferson County, Boulder, San Miguel, and Arapahoe.
"Kerry has been a wonderful resource to help my clients to be the best parents they can be and to help them to preserve and strengthen their relationship with their children."
